About Morey
My name is Morey
McNeill, and I have been a part of the writing world for some decades, had my
share of failures and successes, and had my novel, Cape
Enrage, published by a US publisher. I did the author’s signings and met a
lot of other writers in the process. It was by talking to them that I developed
a bigger passion than pursuing my own writing. During all those years trying to
get my work noticed, I learned a lot about what did and did not work. There are
so many bogus, expensive and time-wasting things aimed at writers that I decided
what I really wanted to do was to offer something to other writers that was
indispensable to their career, and for a very reasonable price. That was whenWritersWebPages.com was born.
So, with
the expertise of a professional editor, a published writer, a Webmaster and
dedicated workers, we sat down to decide what writers really need. The list was
short, but critical to any writer’s success.
• Time to write
• A place to introduce themselves
to the world, and without a lot of effort on their part, because that would
defeat the first need
• People on their side who cared
about their success
• And, of course, they needed this
service at a price any writer could afford
Instead of
locating in a big city where it is busy and expensive, we decided on the peace
and quiet of a smaller location, which just happened to be overlooking the
ocean. We needed inspiration to service our members, not hustle and bustle. We
knew we couldn’t offer the service our members deserved at the price we wanted
if we set up in one of the major centers. And we were offering a service to the
world, not any one area.
We're pleased to be settled into our newly renovated office and ready to serve our members. We are here for the long haul, and we are as dedicated to serving you as you are to your writing. Together we can make it happen.
